Join us for our Second Annual Autism Awareness Night with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers ... Saturday, April 4th (7pm) vs. the Utica Comets, to kick off Autism Awareness Month!
While bringing knowledge and understanding to Autism is important on this day, this event is also an opportunity for families, caretakers and children on the autism spectrum to come down to the Arena, watch professional hockey and simply have fun.
We will have a reserved section in the stands, lower the volume of the Arena PA system, provide plenty of signage and directions on site, as well as provide a Sensory Friendly Zone in the Harbor Club of the Webster Bank Arena. The Sensory Friendly Zone is a quiet-room and features muted lighting as well as arts, crafts, games, televisions and other activities.
