The December 24 movie event will be a welcoming experience that actively accommodates diversity. ASN welcomes ALL people,of ALL abilities, and ALL ages to this event. Music will be turned DOWN, lights will be turned UP, and an inclusive spirit of community will be on FULL BLAST!

This event is free but you must reserve tickets to attend. You may reserve a maximum of 8 tickets for your group. Theater doors open at 9:30 am. Seats are not pre-assigned so plan on arriving as soon as possible after 9:30 to select your seats. If you register and your plans change, please send us a courtesy email to cancel your tickets so another family can attend the movie.

Attendees may come in their Christmas pajamas and slippers, bring a blanket, fidgets, or any other comfort or sensory item that they might need. If you follow a particular diet, you will be allowed to bring in your own food/drink items to accommodate your participant's diet.

The event will be supervised and chaperoned by Autism Society of Nebraska volunteers. This movie is offered as an alternative to holiday travel or family gatherings that may not be possible for the individuals and families we serve due to circumstances. Attendees will not be held to mainstream society’s standards of so-called proper movie theater behavior. We still request that someone be in attendance for those individuals that may require additional supports. If the attendee is under the age of 20, we request a parent, family member or another adult be present.

Our Autism Response Team (ART) is specially trained to connect people with autism, their families, and caretakers to information, tools, and resources.
