Exploration for All: Autism Early Open at Pacific Science Center. On the third Saturday of each month, all families affected by autism spectrum disorder are invited to explore Pacific Science Center during a special free morning visit from 8-10 a.m. – before it is open to the public (entry through our North Entrance only). Experience the exhibits without heavy crowds with have softened general lighting and decreased noise level and visual stimulation on interactive exhibits wherever possible. Additional accessibility resources can be found below.
There will also be additional captioning devices in one of the IMAX theaters and printed copies of the sensory guide for guests.
Our Autism Response Team (ART) is specially trained to connect people with autism, their families, and caretakers to information, tools, and resources.
