Each 3-hour workshop focuses on providing parents and caregivers with strategies to use at home, school, and in the community. The strategies discussed are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
The focus of this workshop is on promoting safety for your child in the community. The first part of the workshop emphasizes safeguards that can be put into place in the community immediately, as it is important that your child is in a safe environment while they are still learning safety skills. The latter part of the workshop will focus on teaching community safety skills, such as “wait” and “stay with me,” that can be carried on as children age and engage in a variety of experiences.

Our Autism Response Team (ART) is specially trained to connect people with autism, their families, and caretakers to information, tools, and resources.
