The AANE Outdoor Enthusiasts Club is a group, created to bring together adults in the Greater Boston and Southeastern, MA areas, who share a love of the outdoors. Facilitated by Katie McClean, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, the group will organize fun and interesting outdoor activities.
Join the Outdoor Enthusiasts Club if you are an adult on the autism spectrum looking for opportunities to socialize and participate in fun outdoor adventures. For more information, and to sign up, check out the Club on MeetUp
This meeting is an in-person* meeting. Please join the group on SUNDAY, June 12th! Instead of our usual hiking/walking agenda, we will be planning a morning of sunshine & relaxation at Revere Beach.
We will be meeting at the beach, across from the public bathrooms (GPS: 230 Revere Beach Blvd, Revere, MA 02151). Please feel free to bring beach chairs, towels, snacks, books – whatever your beach heart desires! I will of course be bringing beach checkers and paddle toss & catch. Most importantly, don’t forget sunscreen and your sunglasses!
Please note that there is metered parking along Revere Beach Boulevard & Ocean Ave, on a first come, first serve basis. There are also a few lots in the area as well as the Wonderland Station Parking Lot, which is a 10 minute walk from the meet-up location.
RE: COVID, AANE requires its attendees to be fully vaccinated and masks will NOT be required throughout the event since we will be outside and have the ability to distance. However, you are welcome to wear a mask at any time.
