Roxey Ballet Sensory Friendly Nutcracker

The Roxey Ballet is a performing company with a focus on equity, diversity, inclusion, and education. We have worked with many special needs and disabled based schools/organizations to bring dance and movement to students and young audience members who are all too often left out of the arts.

This year we are hosting a sensory-friendly performance of our Annual Nutcracker. This relaxed performance will focus on the story of the Nutcracker with our dancers but without the pyrotechnics, loud music (there will be music just at a lower volume), flashing lights, and we include interactive moments between the costumes and the dancers with the audience. Our goal is to make this show as accessible as possible and we are dedicated to doing whatever is possible to make that happen.
