Small Paintings Project 2-Day Workshop at The Muck in Fullerton!

VSA Orange County's Small Paintings Project, offered to students ages 8-12 on the Autism Spectrum, will occur Tuesday, July 27th and Thursday, July 29th from 2:30-5:00 p.m. at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton. This art program walks students through the exploration and discovery of the 7 elements of art in mini art lessons covering line, shape, form, space, color value, and texture. Students will create their own unique piece that will be scaled down to a small canvas painting and leave with a personal portfolio of pieces demonstrating what they have learned. This workshop is led by two retired, credentialed Special Education Teaching Artists, Marianna Kovacs and Carrie McNeely. This program is provided under a contract with the J. F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
