Wyoming State-Regulated Insurance Coverage

Wyoming requires meaningful coverage for autism under state-regulated plans.

On April 19, 2019, the Wyoming Department of Insurance issued a bulletin requiring all plans that have mental health coverage to also cover evidence-based treatment for autism spectrum disorder. Health benefit plans were given until July 1, 2019 to come into compliance with the new requirements.
